Job summary

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Boulder is seeking a Slot Attendant to deliver prompt, courteous guest service on the casino floor. You will handle jackpots, vouchers, and currency, perform minor machine repairs, and ensure asset integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include providing accurate jackpot data, refilling vouchers, and maintaining security while coordinating with security and operations. Must be 21+ and English proficient; casino work cards may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to report suspicious behavior.
• Notify Slot Operations of floor irregularities and escalate as needed.
• Comply with gaming laws and internal controls, Title 31, regulations.
• Provide outstanding service to guests and teammates; perform other duties.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture
• Monitor assigned slot section(s) efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Proactively assist guests by responding to service lights, processing jackpots, redeeming ticket vouchers, and making minor machine repairs
• Refill printer vouchers, inspect for counterfeit currency, and enter jackpot data accurately into the computer system
• Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental procedures
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while resolving guest disputes and promoting special offers or property amenities
• Communicate effectively with team members via radio to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain an accurate assigned currency bank and follow all proper money-handling procedures
• Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to detect and report any suspicious behavior or attempts to cheat
• Notify Slot Operations management of floor irregularities and **escalate** issues as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a guest service or casino operations role preferred
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment
• Comfortable learning and retaining working knowledge of slot machines, payout procedures, and documentation requirements
• Experience handling cash and operating systems such as computers, radios, scanners, and adding machines
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
