Job summary

Edgewater Gaming, LLC is hiring a Slot Attendant to deliver prompt, courteous guest service on the casino floor. You will handle jackpots, print vouchers, and perform minor machine repairs to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

You will monitor slot sections, assist guests via service lights, manage ticket vouchers, and maintain accuracy in currency and data entry while working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of guest service or casino operations experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning working knowledge of slot machines, payout procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Experience handling cash and operating systems such as computers, radios, scanners, and adding machines.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Monitor assigned slot section(s) efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Proactively assist guests by responding to service lights, processing jackpots, redeeming ticket vouchers, and making minor machine repairs.
• Refill printer vouchers, inspect for counterfeit currency, and enter jackpot data accurately into the computer system.
• Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental procedures.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while resolving guest disputes and promoting special offers or property amenities.
• Communicate effectively with team members via radio to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain an accurate assigned currency bank and follow all proper money-handling procedures.
• Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to detect and report any suspicious behavior or attempts to cheat.
• Notify Slot Operations management of floor irregularities and elevate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned
