Mammoth Mountain is seeking seasonal grooming operators to lead and train on-hill crews in maintenance, grooming and related operations in Mammoth Lakes, CA. The role emphasizes monitoring performance and adjusting workflows to optimize terrain preparation for sports school and race activities.

Candidates should have two seasons handling snow grooming equipment, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn systems like Workday and SnowSat.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Two full time seasons of operating snow grooming equipment.
• Ability to operate winch cats, prepare ramps and construct terrain.
• Strong verbal communication and writing abilities.
• Ability to learn Workday, SnowSat, and Pisten Bully Pro Academy.

Responsibilities

• Directs, trains and monitors operators in maintenance, grooming and on-hill operations.
• Record and monitor key administrative functions to provide performance feedback and adjust operations.

A Little About This Position

• Directs, trains and monitors operators in maintenance, grooming and on-hill operations.
• This position will also be responsible for recording and monitoring key administrative functions of the department to provide performance feedback, and to adjust operations accordingly.
  

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Two full time seasons of operating snow grooming equipment
• Ability to operate winch cats, prepare and finish ramps and construct specialized terrain for Sports School and Race Department
• Strong verbal communication skills and adequate writing abilities
• Ability to learn Workday, SnowSat, and Pisten Bully Pro Academy
  

Hourly pay rate: $35.58 to $42.44
