Job summary

The Dusenbery Operator position at Trident-Solutions is responsible for operating the Dusenbery slitting machine to meet production, quality and safety targets. You will prepare PVC rolls for internal and external customers and perform quality checks on materials.

Expect a 12-hour rotating day/night schedule, with training on days and eventual transition to permanent night shift (6:00pm-6:00am). Strong attention to safety, reporting, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must follow TRIDENT safety policies and procedures.
• Excellent safety and attendance record required.
• Basic math and ability to read measurements and data.
• Able to use a tape measure, calipers and decimal scale.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dusenbery slitting machine with minimal supervision.
• Label, package, and palletize rolled material for delivery.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and report to maintenance.
• Meet quality and production targets, minimize scrap and downtime.
• Perform quality checks and report results to the Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support housekeeping.
• Use forklift or overhead crane to move materials as needed.
