Job summary

Winpak Control Group Inc. is seeking a Slitter Operator for the second shift (2:15pm-12:45am) in Norwood, New Jersey. You will operate a master roll slitting machine to convert semi-finished rolls into finished products per customer specs, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role involves inspecting finished rolls, maintaining equipment, completing production documentation, and supporting continuous improvement through adherence to SOPs and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; communicate in English and understand production docs.
• Mechanical aptitude to set up, adjust and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commit to quality records.
• Ability to stand for long periods and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate the master roll slitting machine to meet production and quality standards.
• Review schedules and documents to prepare runs per specifications.
• Set up and adjust cutting widths and slit configurations; perform test runs.
• Complete production records and inspection reports accurately.
• Inspect rolls for quality and segregate non-conforming material.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine cleaning, and assist with safety.
