Winpak Control Group Inc. in Norwood, NJ is seeking a Slitter Operator for the second shift to join the Quality department.

You will operate a master roll slitting machine and convert semi-finished rolls into finished products per customer specs. This role ensures product quality, production efficiency, and safety compliance, while inspecting rolls, completing records, maintaining equipment, and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Mechanical aptitude to set up and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality records and product specs.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Operate master roll slitting machine to meet production, quality, and machine performance standards.
• Review production schedules and work orders to prepare and execute runs.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machine settings, widths, and slit configurations; perform test runs.
• Complete production records, inspection reports, and verification documentation accurately.
• Inspect rolls for quality, proper labeling, and segregation of non-conforming material.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and knife blade care.
• Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following SOPs.
