Job summary

Winpak Control Group Inc. in Norwood, New Jersey, is seeking a Slitter Operator for the second shift to join the Quality department.

You will operate a master roll slitting machine to convert semi-finished rolls into finished products according to customer specifications, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will inspect rolls, maintain records, set up and adjust machines, and support continuous improvement through standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to read production documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude to set up and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in production records.

Responsibilities

• Operate master roll slitting machine safely and efficiently to meet standards.
• Review schedules and manufacturing docs to execute production runs.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machine settings and test runs.
• Complete production records and inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Inspect rolls for quality and properly label and store finished products.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report issues.
