Job summary

OmniMax International is seeking a skilled technician to support the manufacturing floor in Waco, TX. The role focuses on operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring safety, and assisting with coil handling and slitter setup.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. Full-time position with benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment.
• Attention to detail to identify and rectify machine malfunctions.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist forklift driver to load aluminum/galvanized steel coils onto payoff.
• Slitter experience and prep for operation with feeding tools and PPE.
• Measure product width and monitor quality; notify management of issues.
• Lubricate machines and refill lubrication devices.
• Properly cut up and dispose of scrap.
• Enter time and production data accurately into the computer.
