Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Slitter Operator to join our bindery team. You will help print and move finished product out the door and into readers’ hands across the country; training is provided and advancement opportunities are available.

Hours are 6pm–6am, with overtime as required. The starting rate is $20.49 per hour ( $19.15 base + 7% shift differential ). Location specifics at 2347 Kratzer Rd and 1025 Willow Springs Rd in Harrisonburg, VA.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for the full shift.

As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help print and move finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. Previous machine operating experience is preferred but we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!

Slitter Operator Starting Rate: $20.49 ($19.15 Base + 7% Shift Differential)

Hours: 6pm-6am M/T/F/S/S/W/Th; overtime as required

Qualifications:

• Preference given to candidates with 1+ years of experience operating machines
