Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Slitter Operator for its Alliance, OH facility. This on-site role involves setting up and operating the slitter, ensuring a quality product while following safety protocols.

The position is for a 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am) with weekly pay. Starting rate is $24.49 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least one year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Minimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit and stand for no specific time requirements.

Responsibilities

• Must wear all required PPE.
• Set up machine using tooling sizes and clearances to meet work orders.
• Inspect tooling for defects before installation and ensure material winds up straight.
• Perform quality checks (gauge, width, camber) on sample materials during production.
• Complete inspection sheets and paperwork and ensure traceability of materials.
