MCC is seeking a Slitter Machine Operator in our manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. The role emphasizes quality control of print and seam work, precise material handling, and data entry in our operation system. Experience is a bonus but not required.

The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and good visual acuity. A strong attention to detail and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Math skills to perform basic operations and conversions.
• Ability to use measurements in imperial units.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent walking.
• Vision: near/far/color and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Uses ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedures as needed.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Records data on designated paperwork and in Globetek system.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
