Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Spring Mill, Pennsylvania. The role emphasizes quality checks on print and seam integrity, safe material handling, and accurate data recording in our systems.

Experience is not required, but any related machine handling skills are a plus. The job involves using basic measurement tools, operating Windows-based software, and performing routine duties while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for label counts and conversions using US units and currency.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• Physical demands include standing, manual handling, lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive movement.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web as specified.
• Uses ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing as required.
• Handles rolls and pallets carefully to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam defects.
• Records data on paperwork and in the Globetek system.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
