Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Slitter Operator. The role involves operating a Slitter/Rewinder, ensuring print and seam quality, and accurately recording data in Radius/Globetek. No prior experience required, training available.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight, volume and distance.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Slitter/Rewinder, loading rolls and setting unwind position per spec.
• Continuously checks print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices rolls per spec.
• Uses ruler, safety knife and hole punch during splicing as needed.
• Handles rolls and pallets to avoid damage.
• Records data in paperwork and in Radius/Globetek system.
• Supports team values: accountability, results, customer focus, innovation and teamwork.
