Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a Machine Operator and/or Sheet Metal Fabricator.
• Forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred.
• Able to work 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Observe senior Slitter Operator during set-up to learn procedures.
• Load coiled raw material on pay-off shaft using forklift.
• Feed material through slitter and check for burrs/warping; attach to re-coiler.
• Document coil weight on Slitting Report and coil.
• Monitor equipment for safe, efficient operation and report concerns.
