Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Waco, TX is seeking a Slitter Operator I to support packaging production. You will operate slitting and core cutting equipment, handle rolls, and ensure products meet customer specs while maintaining safety and quality.

This role requires reading and following GMPs/SOPs, data-entry, and rotating 8-hour shifts. A high school diploma or GED and basic English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Reading and following written instructions and SOPs.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitting, core cutting, and roll-wrapping equipment.
• Cut cores to required sizes and ensure materials are ready for next jobs.
• Palletize finished rolls and move products to designated areas.
• Perform quality checks before, during, and after production runs.
• Review job requirements to meet customer specifications.
• Conduct final inspections of finished rolls before release.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, 5S, and DTM requirements.
• Enter production and quality data using available systems.
