Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Slitter Operator to join our bindery support team. You will operate and oversee the machinery to produce and move finished product to readers nationwide, with training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Starting rate is $19.15 per hour for Day Shift (6am–6pm). Lakeside offers paid time off, medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for the entire duration of your shift.
• Preference given to candidates with 1+ years of experience operating machines.

We are looking for a Slitter Operator to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help print and move finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. Previous machine operating experience is preferred but we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful.Advancement opportunities are available!

Starting Rate: $19.15
Hours: Day Shift, A Crew, 6am-6pm
