Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Bristol, PA seeks a Slitter Operator to set up and run the slitter line on a 2-2-3 night schedule. You will load and unload rolls, build pallets, and perform quality checks to meet daily goals.

The role requires the ability to read a tape measure and operate a computer for data entry, plus basic tool use and safe lifting. You will work in a collaborative team environment, follow SOPs, and contribute to on-time production.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and use a computer for basic data entry.
• Use minor tools and sharp cutting tools as needed.
• Process written information and SOPs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rolls on the slitter.
• Build pallets of finished goods per customer specifications.
• Bag finished rolls and perform quality checks on measurements, print quality, and roll tension.
• Maintain daily goals and meet schedule requirements per SOPs.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively to complete tasks.

Location: Bristol, PA

Payrate: $22-25 hour

Schedule: 2-2-3 night shifts

(Example: Week 1 Sun, Wed, Thurs. Week 2 Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat.)

Slitter Operator Job Description:

• Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter
• Building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications
• Bagging of finished rolls
• Perform quality checks for measurements, print quality, roll tension and integrity
• Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet daily goal and schedule needs and comply with SOP’s

Slitter Operator Job Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure/ ruler and use a computer for basic data entry
• Use minor tools (i.e. Allen wrenches) and sharp cutting tools
• Process written information (orders, SOP’s)
• Able to work in team environment and communicate with others
• Albe to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/ pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally
