Perfect Placement Group, LLC in Butler, IN is seeking a Slitter Helper for the 2nd shift to support the company’s 60-inch and 72-inch slitting lines. You will assist the Slitter Operator and help process steel to fulfill customer orders.

This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing or material handling experience who are willing to learn. Direct-hire, full-time position with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing environment experience required or preferred.
• Able to learn, follow instructions, and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Slitter Operator with safe and efficient line operation.
• Help process steel according to customer orders.
• Monitor material as it is slit and recoiled.
• Help prepare finished material for movement to the next production area.
• Handle material and support production activities around the slitter.
• Pay close attention to quality and production requirements.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Learn equipment, processes, and additional production skills.
• Perform other production duties as needed.
