Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator to move products and materials in a high-volume cold and dry storage environment. You will operate a stand-up reach forklift, document weights and counts via the RF system, and assist with inbound and outbound shipments.

You must be able to lift 40 lbs, work in cold or warm storage with provided PPE, and maintain equipment. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts, contributing to safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to understand English in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg) and handle heavy items with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials.
• Put away palletized units into high racks and prepare outbound shipments.
• Record materials, weights, counts, and item condition using RF system.
• Load/unload items from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform daily forklift maintenance/checks and keep batteries charged and clean.

Use a stand-up reach forklift with slip sheet conversion to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPut away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor heightPick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipmentChoose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) systemLoad and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting deviceComplete daily forklift maintenance/check sheetMonitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging stationADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with other machinery and material handling equipmentMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Basic math skillsAbility to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage LogisticsAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
