Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily guest service and support operations in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise opening/closing, assist with cash handling, stocking, and ensuring timely food expediting to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes professional demeanor, reliability, and teamwork, with a path toward advancement in a growing company. Training and flexible scheduling are available to fit operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate well.
• Proficient math skills and comfort with numbers.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrates maturity and professional demeanor at all times.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Positive attitude and self-discipline.
• At least 1 year supervisor or manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the opening and closing of the restaurant (flexible schedule).
• Assist in counting out cash registers.
• Assist in stocking shelves with inventory and product.
• Expedite food for guests.
• Follow directions of management.

The Shift Manager will display exemplary professional and positive attitudes at all times. The Shift Manager is expected to perform each task in the restaurant and regularly help expedite food to ensure delivery of outstanding guest service. Shift Manager’s assist the management team in meeting Company standards for quality food, service, and sanitation.
