Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the safe operation of aquatic attractions, patron surveillance to ensure guest safety, and delivering exemplary guest service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensure proper use of safety practices and procedures while operating the aquatic attraction, including opening and closing procedures, loading and unloading the ride, and providing safety instructions. Observe ride monitors to ensure safe operation and safely evacuate the ride in accordance with operating procedures.
  2. Welcome and greet guests, screen for ride requirements and special needs. Provide guest and attraction information, monitor the queue, make appropriate adjustments, and record ride counts.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by constantly monitoring the immediate area and surroundings.
  4. Ensure a neat and organized work area, perform trash removal, and keep the area free of debris, including proper maintenance of equipment and ride vehicles.
  5. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Theme park experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
