Job summary

Halliburton in Alaska is seeking an Operator Assistant Trainee - Slickline to learn safety, rigging up/down, and equipment inspections while following HSE guidelines.

The role includes 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, travel stipend, Alaska living allowances, lodging and meals provided, and a sign-on bonus after 90 days. Candidates must have a HS diploma, CDL eligibility, clean driving record, ability to lift 60 lbs, and flexibility for irregular hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement or Class B depending on product/service line.
• Clean driving record with no DWI/DUI in past 3 years recognized.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to follow routine instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures for equipment and tools.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and guidelines.
• Assist in completing pre- and post-job equipment inspections and reports.
• Assist in rigging-up/down operation equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Assist in cleaning, repair and preparation for jobs.
• Practice safe driving when traveling to locations.
• Complete training per the company's learning development system.
