Job summary

Golden Touch is seeking a creative Designer, Sleepwear to lead and develop innovative sleepwear collections. You will own the design process from concept through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of apparel design experience in sleepwear or related categories, strong technical know-how, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop preferred). This onsite role supports the Jaclyn division and growth with major retailers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
4+ years of apparel design experience, with direct sleepwear experience.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, and product development processes.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop proficiency preferred.
Experience designing for Walmart or other large-volume retailers is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design trend-right sleepwear collections that align with customer needs, brand direction, and business objectives.
Research and interpret market trends, color direction, fabric innovations, prints, graphics, and silhouettes for sleepwear and loungewear.
Create seasonal concepts, mood boards, CADs, detailed sketches, colorways, and presentation materials.
Develop tech packs and design packages to communicate specifications to cross-functional teams and overseas partners.
Partner with Product Development, Technical Design, Production, Sales, and Sourcing throughout the lifecycle.
Source fabrics, trims, treatments, prints, and embellishments to meet aesthetic and cost goals.
Participate in fittings and sample reviews, ensuring design integrity and quality.
