Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnography Technician to perform polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for sleep disorders under the Sleep Center leadership. Role includes patient preparation, data recording, and collaboration with physicians.

The position requires certification and prior neurodiagnostic experience, with opportunities for continuing education and professional development within Mercy Health’s Sleep Center network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• At least one year of experience in neurophysiology or sleep disorders medicine (preferred).
• Must hold RPSGT, RST, or SDS credential (required for applicable states).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and explain procedure; operate polysomnographic equipment per protocol.
• Document detailed technical reports for physician interpretation.
• Administer neurodiagnostic procedures and monitor test quality.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and assist with payments.
• Maintain continuing education in neurodiagnostic field.
