Job summary

East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sleep Technologist to administer sleep studies under physician direction. You will assess patients, score records, and ensure data integrity while handling specimens as needed.

The role requires 1–3 years of sleep tech experience, RPSGT/CPSGT or eligibility, and BCLS certification. This is a PRN, days position with roughly 2 days per week, 6 am–4 pm, at 1499 Fair Rd, Statesboro, GA.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in sleep technology or a related field.
• RPSGT or CPSGT certification required or eligible.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies per protocol under Medical Director direction.
• Perform and document patient assessments before and during sleep studies.
• Score sleep records accurately and report findings to physicians.
• Collect and transmit specimens for analysis per procedures.
• Document results and patient data in accordance with policies.
• Maintain and calibrate sleep study equipment; report malfunctions.
