Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (degree preferred).
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates polysomnographic recording equipment to record and evaluate sleep/wake disorders.
• Scores polysomnographic recordings in preparation for physician interpretation.
• Applies and removes electrodes and monitoring equipment such as EKG, EMG, EOG, and oxygen sensors.
• Performs patient interviews, reviews charts, and ensures protocol adherence.
• Titrates CPAP/BiPAP/ASV therapies per physician orders and protocols.
• Educates patients on device use and monitors sleep study parameters.
