Job description

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sleep Technologist II. Under general supervision of the Director, the successful candidate will demonstrate significant expertise in performing all aspects of Polysomnography for both clinical and research patients. The technologist should be familiar with commonly used drugs to manage sleep disorders, recognize interactions that could adversely affect patients, and communicate this to the appropriate medical personnel. They should also have a good working knowledge of sleep hygiene techniques to reinforce recommendations made during consultations. Responsibilities include recognizing and diagnosing apneas during NPSG, performing mask fittings, writing and adapting protocols, scoring data, training staff on new equipment, and transferring data to storage systems.
