Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or
• Associate's degree or bachelor preferred or
• Bachelor's degree preferred and
• Formal education in sleep technology or respiratory therapy required
• One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates home sleep testing and provisioning of durable medical equipment following standards and practices.
• Educates patients on device use and provides home care advice.
• Performs pulmonary function tests and rehabilitation exercises.
• Maintains patient records and ensures timely documentation in EMR.
• Acts as liaison to resolve patient issues, problems and treatments.
• Liaises with other MedStar Sleep Centers and hospital departments to ensure continuity of care.
