This department provides attended diagnostic testing services related to respiration, sleep staging, and esophageal pH recordings. The sleep lab in St. Paul is the only pediatric-focused diagnostic sleep lab in the upper Midwest, nationally accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, one of fewer than 10 fully accredited pediatric sleep labs in the U.S.
This role involves a variety of responsibilities in infant, pediatric, and young adult diagnostic testing, impacting patient care and diagnosis. The technician works closely with sleep disorder providers, nursing staff, patients, families, and others. Procedures include polysomnograms, CPAP/BiLevel titrations, oxygen titrations, seizure montages, impedance pH testing, HST education and setup, EKGs, scoring studies, sleep lab tours, and Multiple Sleep Latency Testing. Cross-campus work may be required.
The salary range is competitive based on market data. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and more. Night, weekend, or on-call shifts may qualify for premium pay.
