Qualifications

• RPSGT certification through the BRPT.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.

• Ability to perform sleep reliability scoring per HFHS guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of sleep study procedures and scoring.
• Strong understanding of CPAP/BiPAP titration.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee complex sleep procedures and therapies.
• Conduct CPAP and BiPAP titrations.
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting PSG data acquisition.
• Score and tabulate sleep recordings per guidelines (stages, events, movements).
• Prepare reports and summaries for physician interpretation.
• Maintain BRPT Standards of Conduct compliance.
• Follow HFHS Sleep Center guidelines for reliability scoring.
• Work with patients aged 5 years and older.
• Complete on-the-job training for Epic.

Job description

Duration: 09/21/2026 – 01/02/2027- with possible extension

Schedule: 4 days/week | 10-hour shifts

Shift: 7:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee complex sleep procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct CPAP and BiPAP titrations.
• Assist sleep technicians with troubleshooting during challenging polysomnography (PSG) data acquisition.
• Score and tabulate sleep recordings according to established guidelines, including:
• Sleep stages
• Respiratory events
• Limb movements
• Other sleep-related parameters
• Prepare detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation.
• Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct.
• Follow Henry Ford Health System Sleep Center guidelines for sleep reliability scoring.
• Work with patients beginning at 5 years of age.
• Complete on-the-job training for Epic.
