Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a PRN Sleep Technician to join our sleep lab team. You will set up equipment, instruct and monitor patients, and manage oxygen, CPAP, and ventilatory support devices according to established protocols.

Responsibilities include calibrating and cleaning monitoring equipment, recognizing sleep pathology with appropriate interventions, and ordering/stocking sleep lab supplies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program or credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
• Successful completion of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Approved A-STEP Program.
