Job summary

Fairview Range is seeking a Sleep Technician to join our Sleep Lab team in Hibbing, MN. The role involves diagnosing and treating sleep disorders by conducting studies, monitoring patients, and analyzing data under supervision of the medical director or designee.

The position requires working 72-80 hours per two weeks with 12-hour night shifts, on-site coverage in Hibbing and Grand Rapids. Responsibilities include equipment preparation, data scoring, and post-test follow-up to support patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or within 3 months of hire and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information and history.
• Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing and adjust as needed.
• Perform PAP mask desensitization as necessary.
• Monitor sleep patterns, vital signs, and interventions during studies; make real-time adjustments.
• Record and document data following protocols.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Score polysomnographic records.
• Perform post-test follow-up.
