Job summary

MyMichigan Health in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Sleep Lab Technologist to perform diagnostic sleep testing and analysis in the sleep disorders department. On-the-job training provided; no formal education required.

Role may rotate to other sleep labs to cover staff shortages or patient volume, and requires equipment calibration, patient prep, and scoring of polysomnography and related measurements under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; sleep lab experience preferred.
• RPSGT certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided; no formal education required.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates equipment before and after use.
• Preps patients for procedures.
• Sets up equipment and performs testing/analysis as ordered.
• Checks equipment in use and makes adjustments as needed.
• Documents and communicates patient information to determine testing parameters.
• Scores PSG and CPAP titrations and participates in quality improvement.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety measures.
