Job summary

Medix is seeking a Sleep Technologist to conduct comprehensive polysomnographic sleep studies for adult patients. You will operate 12-hour night shifts (three nights per week) and maintain a tight 1:1 patient ratio with potential adjustments based on facility needs.

Proficiency in real-time scoring, data collection, and documentation in Epic EMR is required, using Nox sleep equipment. This position is a 13-week assignment with possible extension in Cresco, IA.

Qualifications

• RSPGT certification required.
• Experience performing adult sleep studies preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive polysomnographic sleep studies independently for adult patients.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio, with potential up to 1:2 based on facility needs.
• Perform real-time sleep study scoring and data collection.
• Document all patient data using Nox equipment and Epic EMR.

Job description

Length of Assignment: 13 - weeks with possible extension

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00/8:00 PM – 7:00/8:00 AM); minimum of one weekend per month required

Certification Needed: RSPGT

Compensation: $2200 / weekly gross (includes max tax free travel stipend for eligible travelers)

• Manage a standard patient ratio of 1:1, with the potential for up to 1:2 based on facility needs.
• Perform real-time sleep study scoring and data collection.
