Base pay range

$35.30/hr - $36.40/hr

Job Opportunity: Temp to Perm Position Available.

Schedule & Shift
  • Schedule: 4x10
  • Shift: 8:30pm - 7am
Requirements
  • Flu vaccination (no declination/no exemption)
  • Certifications: RPSGT, RCP, CA License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years with PSG and home sleep study scoring
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  • Work under the direct clinical supervision of the sleep medicine physician to prepare sleep studies, support patients with positive airway pressure-related issues, and conduct polysomnogram scoring.
  • Oversee home sleep study logistics, including setting up and scoring home sleep testing devices.
  • Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
  • Determine final testing parameters/procedures in collaboration with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
  • Explain procedures and orient patients for sleep testing.
  • Select and calibrate appropriate equipment for testing to ensure proper functioning, making adjustments if necessary; apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted standards.
  • Perform data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free, identify, correct, and document artifacts.
  • Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
  • Provide patient education and instruction appropriate for sleep testing.
