American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist with 2+ years of sleep disorder specialty experience to join a 13-week night shift assignment in Georgia. The role requires current RPSGT or BRPT certification and AHA BLS, with licensure if applicable, and involves 12-hour night shifts on a 3-night weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent sleep disorder specialty experience.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Current and unrestricted RPSGT or BRPT certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Sleep Disorders Center performing polysomnographic testing.
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
• 13-week contract assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep disorder testing.
• Monitor polysomnograms and document findings per facility policy.
• Must work specified holidays and manage RTO considerations.
• Returning staff who previously worked at this facility must observe a 2-year break in service.
