Job summary

UKHS St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS, is seeking a Night Shift Sleep Center Polysomnographic Tech to join our Sleep Lab. This full-time role involves performing sleep studies, calibrating and maintaining equipment, and educating patients and families.

The position supports a high-quality care environment and uses advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes. Under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Manager and Medical Director, you will contribute to safe, patient-centered care while growing

Qualifications

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPGST) or Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) with SDS certification within 1 year.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Polysomnography Technologists perform sleep studies, calibrate, and maintain equipment, and educate patients, families and other care providers.
• Technologists work under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Manager and Medical Director and are responsible for performing patient care activities and other tasks that contribute to high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
