Job summary

Bailey Medical Center in Owasso, OK is seeking a Night Shift Polysomnographic Technologist to join our Sleep Lab team. This full-time role performs polysomnograms and sleep studies under the Sleep Lab Medical Director, with emphasis on safe patient care and accurate data collection.

The ideal candidate holds CPSGT at hire, RPSGT within one year, and BLS within 14 days. You will monitor patients, attach electrodes, titrate CPAP/oxygen as needed, and score reports with precision.

Qualifications

• Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) upon hire.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, testing methodologies, and patient monitoring practices.
• Skill in operating polysomnographic equipment and related software systems.
• Ability to analyze physiologic data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of sleep tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnograms and other sleep studies under the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
• Attach electrodes and monitor patients during sleep studies.
• Monitor the patient, document observations, and report data to the physician.
• Titrate CPAP and oxygen therapy when applicable.
• Score reports and ensure accurate record keeping.

• The Polysomnographic Technologist performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests under the direction of the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
• Responsible for electrode attachment and monitoring of patients who are participating in a sleep study.
• Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations, collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the physician.
• Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy when applicable.
• Scores reports.
