Job summary

BioTalent Ltd seeks a Director of Clinical Research to own the clinical research organization—the data collection and scientific backbone of the company. You'll lead a team of 10+ research associates, data scientists, and data engineers, serving as the senior physiological authority across human studies powering our hardware, sensing, and AI/ML teams.

This hands-on leadership role covers study design, statistical criteria, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional program management.

Qualifications

• PhD in physiology, neuroscience, sleep science, or related field.
• 10+ years of human research experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with biosensing devices or consumer health technology.
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications and IRB experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the clinical research & science organization and mentor a 10+ team.
• Direct all human research studies from protocol through reporting.
• Apply statistical criteria to validate hardware and algorithm performance.
• Translate research into product features with cross-functional partners.
• Provide scientific input for marketing claims and external communications.
• Lead scientific communications including blogs, papers, and conferences.
• Manage hiring, compensation, mentorship, and performance.
• Drive external collaborations and new sleep science research areas.
• Own budget and vendor management for clinical studies.
