Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Sleep Research Assistant to support sleep research projects at Bradley Hospital in East Providence, RI. You will assist with recruitment, data collection, and materials preparation, while maintaining confidentiality and high attention to detail.

The role involves interactions with participants of various ages, evening/weekend flexibility, and requires personal transportation for equipment or participant pickups. A Bachelor’s in life sciences is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in any of the life sciences.
• Experience working with human volunteers and human participant recruitment. Familiarity with data/data file management and Macintosh computers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend study planning meetings and participate in participant recruitment activities.
• Prepare materials for in-lab studies and organize protocols and supplies.
• Perform structured interviews and data collection, including actigraph data handling.
• Assist in maintaining IRB materials and ensure confidentiality and data accuracy.
