Job summary

Allina Health Sleep Service Line is seeking a Program Leader to oversee the Sleep Clinical Service, including A-STEP training, AASM accreditation, and the QA program. You will partner with leadership to ensure safe, effective operations aligned with department policies and standards.

The role requires an Associate's or Vocational degree with polysomnography training and 5+ years as a Polysomnographic Technologist; a Bachelor's in Clinical Health is preferred. BLS credentials are required.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Vocational degree or completion of a polysomnography program with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited facility.
  • 5+ years as a Polysomnographic Technologist with proficiency in sleep studies and test scoring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the A-Step Program and coordinate training.
  • Ensure program meets AASM accreditation standards.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with AASM, CMS, Joint Commission, MDH, OSHA, etc.
  • Collect data and provide quarterly quality assurance reports.
  • Lead reaccreditation and quality/performance improvement planning.
