Job summary

Sound A Sleep Lab in Saginaw, MI seeks a compassionate Sleep Physician (MD/DO) to join a growing sleep medicine practice. You will evaluate and treat sleep disorders, review sleep studies, and tailor individualized treatment plans.

Travel to affiliated locations is required. Candidate must have an MD/DO from a US medical school, Michigan medical license, DEA registration, and be board-eligible/certified in Sleep Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Active, unrestricted Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Sleep Medicine or an applicable specialty.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• Current hospital privileges or eligibility for credentialing.
• Strong communication, patient engagement, and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, and other sleep-related conditions.
• Review and interpret sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep testing results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Prescribe and manage therapies and medications as clinically appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Support CPAP therapy adherence and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Provide patient education regarding sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, sleep technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while fostering positive patient experiences.
