Job summary

Sustainable World, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA-C) for sleep medicine. This remote-friendly role requires NY licensure and PA-C certification, with strong communication and sleep medicine experience.

You will evaluate and manage patients, develop treatment plans, and conduct telemedicine visits from New York. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of clinical experience, DEA registration, and is comfortable with eClinicalWorks.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
  • NCCPA Certification (PA-C).
  • DEA registration or ability to obtain.
  • Sleep medicine, pulmonary, internal medicine, neurology, or primary care experience is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive sleep medicine consultations and follow-up visits.
  • Evaluate patients with sleep disorders, including apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, and RLS.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans under physician collaboration.
  • Review and discuss Home Sleep Test (HST) and in-lab sleep study results with patients.
  • Manage CPAP and PAP therapy, including compliance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Provide patient education on sleep disorders and treatment options.
  • Document encounters accurately using electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience preferred).
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, and DME staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in telemedicine visits as needed.

Position
  • Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Position Type: Fully Remote
  • Location: New York
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturday availability is a plus)
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive sleep medicine consultations and follow-up visits.
  • Evaluate patients with sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, restless leg syndrome, and related conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans under physician collaboration.
  • Review and discuss Home Sleep Test (HST) and in-lab sleep study results with patients.
  • Manage CPAP and PAP therapy, including compliance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Provide patient education on sleep disorders and treatment options.
