Job summary

iSleep Program in New York is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) specializing in sleep medicine. This remote-friendly role requires collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to manage sleep disorders.

You will conduct consultations, evaluate patients, and develop individualized treatment plans, with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible Saturday availability. NY licensure and PA-C certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA Certification (PA-C).
• DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Sleep medicine, pulmonary, internal medicine, neurology, or primary care experience highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive sleep medicine consultations and follow-up visits.
• Evaluate patients with sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia, restless leg syndrome, and related conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans under physician collaboration.
• Review and discuss Home Sleep Test (HST) and in-lab sleep study results with patients.
• Manage CPAP and PAP therapy, including compliance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Provide patient education on sleep disorders and treatment options.
• Document encounters accurately using electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience preferred).
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, and DME staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Participate in telemedicine visits as needed.
