Qualifications

• MD or DO from a US-accredited medical school.
• Residency completed at an accredited healthcare institution.
• Fellowship in sleep medicine; board-certified or board-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and clear communication to patients and the medical team.
• Provide expert integrated specialty care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to explore conditions and diagnose issues.
• Demonstrate cultural competency considering socioeconomic factors, race, ethnicity, and culture.
• Analyze reports, tests, records, and exams to diagnose conditions and propose treatments.
• Order labs and radiology tests; refer for additional care when needed.
• Prescribe medications and document conditions accurately.
• Discuss side effects and ensure allergy information is current before prescriptions.
• Provide dietary and lifestyle guidance to improve health.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy laws.
• Record complete EMR entries and use EHRs to relay information to staff and patients.
• Foster collaboration between primary and specialty care per the Master Service Agreement.
• Adhere to policies, safety, and infection control standards.

Education
