Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine Physician for an employed opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role features 36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week, with a team of two physicians and one NP.

Highlights include no APP supervision, no on-call duties, and a focus on comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Telemedicine options and collaboration with Pulmonology, Neurology, and other specialties are available.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Sleep Medicine (ABIM, ABFM, ABPN, or ABSM pathways).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine Fellowship.
• Background in Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine with Sleep Medicine training.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtain.
• Expertise in sleep disorder evaluation and management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat sleep disorders including insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
• Interpret polysomnography (PSG), MSLT, MWT, HSAT, and PAP titration studies.
• Manage CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV therapy and provide long-term follow-up.
