Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine Physician for an employed opportunity in a busy Sleep Clinic. The role includes 36 patient-facing hours per week plus 4 hours of administrative time, a team of two physicians and one NP, and opportunities for telemedicine.

You will interpret PSGs and titration studies, treat sleep disorders, and collaborate with Pulmonology, Neurology, Psychiatry, ENT and Primary Care.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Sleep Medicine (ABIM/ABFM/ABPN/ABSM).
• Completed ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine Fellowship.
• Background in Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine with Sleep Medicine training.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtain.
• Experience interpreting PSG, MSLT, MWT, HSAT, and PAP titration studies.
• Proficiency managing CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage sleep disorders in coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
• Interpret polysomnography, MSLT, MWT, HSAT, and PAP titration studies.
• Collaborate with Pulmonology, Neurology, Psychiatry, ENT, and Primary Care.
• Participate in research, outcomes studies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize telemedicine for sleep consultations and follow-up care.
