Job summary

Sentara Health in Hampton, VA seeks a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join our outpatient sleep clinic in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

This hybrid, outpatient role offers a 5-day workweek, with high demand and 16–20 patients per day. You will interpret PSG/MSLT/HSAT, manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and work with primary care, pulmonology, neurology and psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Virginia and North Carolina medical license.
• Board Certification in Sleep Medicine (ABIM).
• Fellowship training in Sleep Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret overnight polysomnography, MSLT, and HSAT.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using CPAP/BiPAP therapy and behavioral interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across primary care, pulmonology, neurology and psychiatry.
• Provide patient and family education and maintain clinical documentation.

We are seeking a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join our well-established Outpatient Sleep Clinic in Hampton, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity deliver expert care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient-only practice with a flexible hybrid schedule (5-day workweek)

• High patient demand – currently booking 8 months out
• Average 16–20 patients per day

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $248,352.00 - $274,497.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
