Job description

Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center - Bronx, NY

We are seeking a full-time faculty Sleep Medicine physician for our Pulmonary Sleep Lab.

Sleep Lab Details

The lab currently has 4 functional sleep beds, staffed by 2 MDs and 5 sleep technicians, with plans to expand to 12 beds staffed by both Pulmonary and Neurology Sleep specialists for multidisciplinary management of sleep disorders. The Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. It is located at Westchester Square Hospital. Clinic sessions are held at MAP or Hutch, with an NP managing sleep and asthma clinic patients.

Additional Duties

Based on experience and interest, responsibilities may include Pulmonary Inpatient consults, Medical ICU, and Critical Care Consult services.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and a Sleep Medicine Fellowship is required. Opportunities for teaching at all levels, including our Sleep Medicine Fellowship, are available.

Qualifications and Compensation
