Job summary
Advocate Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner for the Wake Forest Health Network: Wellness Hub - Sleep Medicine in North Carolina. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8a-5p with 1 hour admin time daily.
The ideal candidate has an NP degree, RN license, and board certification; ACNP/AGACNP/AGNP/PNP certifications are preferred per population served. You will perform exams, write prescriptions, order labs/imaging, and develop treatment plans while advocating for
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Board certification in the applicable NP specialty.
- ACNP/AGACNP/AGNP/PNP certifications preferred depending on population served.
Responsibilities
- Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
- Records findings of examinations, assessments and plan of care.
- Writes prescriptions and administers medications.
- Orders and interprets daily laboratory and radiology examinations.
- Determines treatment plan and documents patient encounters in medical records.
